
Your Dec. 15, 2009, article "The Crusade Against Counterfeits" repeats false allegations made by Bill Koch in a lawsuit over 11 bottles he purchased at a Zachys auction of 17,000 bottles of my wine. Mr. Koch misrepresents my relationship with Sotheby's and Christie's, both of which actively sought to auction my wine. Neither auction house has ever conducted an auction inspection of my cellar or "rejected" my wine for auction.
