Diageo has hired Michel Rolland and Paul Hobbs to fine-tune the wines at two of the company's prime California properties, Beaulieu Vineyard and Acacia. Bordeaux-based Rolland, arguably the world's best-known wine consultant, is working with BV, while Hobbs, who also has a global clientele and his own Sonoma-based namesake winery, is mentoring at Acacia.
