It's unusual enough that Nashville collectors Jamie and Larry Beckwith preside over not one but two distinctly different high-concept wine cellars. But what's especially noteworthy is that Jamie, the head of an interior design firm, designed both of them herself. The couple has been collecting wine since the early 1990s, when they lived in Los Angeles. "Napa was my original focus," says Larry, 48. "But when we moved to Nashville we became involved in numerous wine-related events, and discovered the rest of the world of wine." Nashville resident Tom Black, who owns a 20,000-bottle collection (see Collecting, June 15, 2007), was a particular influence. Today, Jamie, 38, counts wines such as Château Cheval-Blanc 1982 among her favorites.
