The death of vintner Kathryn Kennedy in August left the fate of her namesake vineyard and winery in Silicon Valley in limbo. The 7-acre site is a anachronism, a rare agricultural island amid the upscale residential sprawl in the tony town of Saratoga, Calif., once a prominent hub of winemaking.
