California Winemakers strike gold with this newly released vintage

California is in the midst of a strong run of Cabernet vintages. The wines from 2006-the most recent vintage to be released-mark the third excellent year in a row, and the 2007s, though a year from coming to market, may be the best of the lot. Call it a Cabernet bonanza, with a variety of styles on offer, extending from sleek and elegant to bold and extravagant.
