Every wine lover knows the sensation: You taste a wine and you exclaim, “I’ve got to see where this comes from.” It’s a message in a bottle that you feel can only be answered in person. Contributing editor Matt Kramer had this (rare) sensation upon tasting the Argentine red wine called Colomé Malbec Estate. Composed mostly of Malbec (85 percent), with smaller amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat, it is a captivating wine, so mush so that he had to visit.
