Surging quality marks the 2007 vintage, and values abound

The 2007 vintage for California Zinfandel is the fourth in a series of strong harvests for the variety. More significant, however, is that influential producers such as Carlisle, Orin Swift and Seghesio are raising the bar on quality, and a wide range of other wineries are following their lead.
