SOUTHERN REDS A number of attractively priced reds in this issue hail from the Southern Hemisphere. Australia and Argentina, in particular, are producing rich, distinctive wines. Both countries focus on their signature varietals—Shiraz and Malbec, respectively—yet many wineries are blending in other grapes as well.
