2005 casts a long shadow, but 2006 delivers some exceptional wines in Bordeaux
Longtime Bordeaux drinkers have seen vintages like 2006 before. It falls into the same uncomfortable category as 2004, 2001, 1996 and 1983, years that all followed famous vintages and so struggled to gain recognition despite producing many outstanding wines.
