< Copia, the long-suffering food-and-wine center in downtown Napa, Calif., declared bankruptcy in December and is unlikely to reopen, leaving behind debts of between $50 and $100 million. Copia: The American Center for Food, Wine and the Arts got its start in 1996, and the late Robert Mondavi provided much of its early funding.
