Three new wineries are opening in New York City this year, each hoping to tap a growing interest in winemaking among New Yorkers. Crush opened in September at City Winery, which builds on the model of CrushPad, the San Francisco winery where consumers can make a barrel of wine with the assistance of in-house winemakers.
