Two weeks of rain during harvest result in a lesser vintage for 2006
Alsace has been blessed by outstanding vintages in recent years. Unfortunately, this trend did not hold in 2006, when a two-week period of rainy weather at harvesttime significantly affected the overall quality of the vintage.
