
The night after his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, Sammy Hagar sauntered into Manhattan's Dos Caminos restaurant, which offers a selection of more than 100 tequilas. The easy assumption might have been that the erstwhile singer for Van Halen was there to party like it was 1999—the year he recorded "Mas Tequila," a song about drinking it straight from the bottle.
