A Collecting Prodigy
Chris Schmidt got an early start building his cellar
Chris Schmidt was 17 years old when he began collecting wine. To kill time on weekday afternoons while waiting for his ride home, he browsed through the liquor stores of Morristown, N.J. With his parents' permission, he insulated a basement closet and installed a small cooler for a starter cellar.
