
The world of wine is always changing. Our 2007 Top 100 includes wines from 13 countries, matching last year's list for diversity. That compares with seven countries in 1988, the year of our inaugural Top 100—testimony that countries and regions that were struggling with winegrowing pains or a lack of identity 10 to 20 years ago have firmly established themselves on the world stage.
