Two words trigger strong reactions in Bordeaux these days: Bernard Magrez. Eyebrows rise and jaws clench. Some in the wine industry say they admire Magrez's ambition and his marketing savvy. The same people may condemn his wine as overextracted juice that doesn't show an ounce of terroir.
