U.S. to Drink More Wine Than Italy

Total wine consumption in the United States will surpass wine consumption in Italy by the end of this year. After a 4 percent gain in 2006, the U.S. wine market is projected to reach record consumption of 304 million 9-liter cases, according to Impact Databank, which is owned by M.
