Two dining establishments offer L.A. cuisine with a twist
Eric Greenspan, once executive chef at Patina, finally has a place of his own, the Foundry on Melrose. As at Patina, the kitchen here treats the food seriously, but it's no temple to gastronomy; diners don't bend over their plates to scrutinize the details.
