Auction Napa Valley Brings In $9.8 Million

Otherwise subdued auction sets a new record for a single bid: $1.1 million

Before wine lovers spent a near-record $9.8 million at Auction Napa Valley in early June, comedian Dana Carvey was onstage sizing up the bidders. "Anyone worth $50 million, raise your hands," said Carvey, the evening's entertainment.
