Devinder Bhatia knows that inspiration can be found in improbable places. A pig's heart, part of a sixth-grade dissection experiment in a classroom in Little Rock, Ark., convinced the 11-year-old Bhatia of his destiny as a heart surgeon, much to his family's surprise.
