Wine at 10,000 Feet
Wearing borrowed boots, Alejandro Fernandez crunched over packed snow, carrying a bottle of his Condado de Haza Reserva 2000 and pouring some for anyone holding a plastic cup. "Salud," he said, raising the wine to the sky as snowflakes began to swirl atop Vail mountain.
