Pillar Rock quickly established itself as one of Napa's rising stars. But last year, when I reviewed the winery's Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap District 2003 ($125) in a regular blind tasting, the first bottle was tainted by TCA (2,4,6-trichloroanisole).
