New chefs rejuvenate two Napa landmarks

A spate of new and revamped restaurants opened in Napa Valley in late 2006, enriching an area already bulging at the seams with high-profile eateries. The standouts are two classics, redone. Meadowood resort, best known as the site of Wine Auction Napa Valley, has renovated its dining room, given its ambitious new chef free rein and revitalized its wine list.
