
New Jersey Assemblyman Michael Panter has put the finishing touches on a bill that seeks to outlaw the production, sale and distribution of foie gras. The bill would affect Newark-based D'Artagnan, one of the largest suppliers of fresh foie gras and duck breasts to New York restaurants.
