Australia's Bold Whites

Chardonnay and Riesling dominate among high quality bottlings

Chardonnay and Riesling continue to command the list of Australia's best white wines. Since our last report (" Australia's Secret Weapon ," June 15, 2005), I have blind-tasted more than 250 Australian whites in our San Francisco office, with 51 wines rating 90 points or higher on the Wine Spectator 100-point scale.
