Piedmont's 2003 Vintage Beats the Heat
I was driving through the hills of Barolo after tasting dozens of 2003 Nebbiolos, and I could literally see why certain vineyards there are so great. It had snowed the day before, and in some vineyards the warm morning sun had begun to melt the snow.
