New Collectors Boost Market to Record High

Wine Spectator's Auction Index posts its largest gain

By almost any measure, the auction market for fine wines is scorching right now, entering record-breaking territory. In the first half of 2006, the Wine Spectator Auction Index rose 11.63 percent, hitting a new high of 249.
