Len Evans, Writer and Champion of Australian Wine, Dies at 75
The wine world lost one of its great characters when Len Evans, Australia's first regular wine columnist, died of a heart attack on Aug. 17. He was 75. Evans was found in his car in the parking lot of a Newcastle hospital where he had gone to visit his wife, Patricia.
