
San Francisco is our kind of town. It's passionate about wine, brims with great restaurants and offers a relaxed yet sophisticated way of life. You could almost say it's Wine Spectator 's hometown. Though the magazine was born in San Diego, it moved to San Francisco when only 3 years old, in 1979, and veteran editors James Suckling, James Laube, Harvey Steiman and Kim Marcus came on board during the San Francisco years.
