In one of the year's most anticipated Manhattan restaurant openings, Le Cirque unveiled its third incarnation on May 31 in the gleaming new Bloomberg building at East 58th Street. Time will tell if the food lives up to the high standards previously set by proprietor Sirio Maccioni and chef Pierre Schaedelin, but with 16,000 square feet and an $18 million interior, Le Cirque's size and scope are indisputable.
