Wineries Sprout Across America
Farmers and entrepreneurs established 460 new wineries in the past year

More Americans are planting vines, crushing grapes and selling wine. The United States is home to 4,280 wineries in 50 states, 460 more than there were a year earlier, according to data through mid-April released by the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
