When the final hammer fell on Saturday evening at Auction Napa Valley in St. Helena, Calif., there had been more than a few surprises; including a record-setting $1.05 million lot, a bidder turning down dinner with actress Geena Davis and a public avowal from American Idol host Ryan Seacrest that he does indeed like women.
