In its 26th year, Wine Spectator 's Restaurant Awards program continued its consistent growth, receiving 847 new entries. The number of award holders has increased every year since 1999 and now stands at 3,772 wine-friendly restaurants, making our 2006 Dining Guide the world's most comprehensive list of restaurants that take wine seriously.
