Big City, Big Bottles: New York Auction Raises a Half-Million Dollars

At the third annual Wine Tasting Dinner and Auction to benefit Mount Sinai Hospital, held on April 26 at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, rare large-format bottles inspired heated bidding. Even with only 90 guests and 27 live lots, the auction generated $523,501 in live bids and $43,785 in silent-auction bids, for a total of $567,286.
