
Hernán Gras knew that if he wanted to improve the quality of his wines, he had to change the location of his vineyards. So he bought a mountain in Colchagua. Gras, 58, founded MontGras in 1990, along with his brother Eduardo and Christian Hartwig, whose family owns the Santa Laura winery down the road.
