Younger Wine Drinkers on the Rise in the United States

More Americans than ever are drinking wine, according to a new study from the Wine Market Council. The research, which in 2005 surveyed 1,398 people, most of whom had an annual income of at least $35,000, found that the number of wine drinkers increased 31 percent from 2000 to 2005, while the number of adults who drink only beer and/or spirits declined 25 percent.
