Snap up 2001s and other older wines still on the market, because the road is about to get rough
The recent release of the 2001 Barolos represents the last call for buying great Nebbiolos, at least for a while. That year marked the end of an extraordinary string of spectacular vintages, from 1996 to 2001, for the stylish reds of Piedmont.
