Months after the storm, hard work, lost wine and small victories

A few months after Hurricane Katrina breached the city's levees, New Orleans' recovery efforts are progressing slowly and painfully. By December 2005, some of the city's 500,000 residents had come back to salvage their homes and businesses, but no one knew how many.
