
Dutch researchers who pored over mountains of medical information have come up with some good news: Drinking moderately may substantially reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The team, led by Lando Koppes at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, analyzed 15 health studies conducted around the world between 1966 and 2004.
