Sanford Founder Departs After Dispute

After three decades, there's no longer a Sanford at Sanford Winery. Richard and Thekla Sanford have severed ties with the winery they founded in California's Santa Rita Hills. The departure follows several tumultuous years at the estate, during which the Sanfords were increasingly at odds with their partners.
