Spain has been on a roller-coaster ride in recent vintages, but even extreme weather hasn't derailed the country's rapid and impressive progress with wine. From the ripe, balanced 2001 vintage to a cool, rainy 2002 and a scorching 2003, Spanish vintners have faced diverse challenges.
