Hospices Sale Opens to Private Bidders

In a break with tradition, Burgundy's 145-year-old Hospices de Beaune charity auction will be organized by Christie's auction house this year. For the first time, the sale, considered a barometer of prices for Burgundy's newest vintage, will be open to private buyers, as well as to local négociants.
