California's Big Red
The hit movie Sideways set off a search for Pinot Noir. Syrah has become a cult favorite and Zinfandel has plenty of partisans. Merlot still has a large and faithful following. But when it comes to California's biggest red, there's really no competition: It's Cabernet Sauvignon.
