Wine Talk: A Diplomat in Florence

William McIlhenny, U.S. consul general in Florence, Italy, since 2002, has used his passion for wine to build relations with the local community and the world at large. This fall, the 42-year-old diplomat, who has worked in various posts in Europe, Latin America and the United States, takes on a new assignment in Washington, D.
