New York Votes to Allow Direct Shipments of Wine From Other States

Issue: September 30, 2005

Two months after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that New York's wine-shipping laws were unconstitutional, Gov. George Pataki (R) signed a law allowing residents to order wine directly from producers in other states.
