Sophisticated dining shows off fine Burgundy in New York

Wine lovers are benefiting from a recent spate of restaurants that offer ultramodern food and encyclopedic wine lists in refined settings. Cru in New York is the latest and among the best yet. Cru's calling card is its love of Burgundy, driven by the passion of wine director Robert Bohr and owner Roy Welland, whose personal wine collection provided the core of the restaurant's cellar.
