Smaller Really Is Better

You don't need to go to journalism school to understand that "Man Bites Dog" makes for better copy than (yawn) "Dog Bites Man." It's obvious, right? So if some cub reporter comes crashing into the newsroom, à la Jimmy Olsen, shouting, "Chief! This just in! Small wineries are better than big ones," your reaction would likely be as contemptuous as that of Perry White, the irascible, cigar-chomping editor of the Daily Planet.
