
Medical studies have attributed all sorts of potential health benefits to the antioxidant resveratrol; it may help reduce cholesterol, fight cancer, even extend longevity. So it's no surprise that some wineries want to note on their labels that their red wines contain high levels of resveratrol and other polyphenols.
