
A decade ago, many natives of Greenwich, Conn., and the surrounding suburbs of New York would barrel into Manhattan for an evening of fine dining. Back then, area restaurants had names like Thataway Cafe, C'est Si Bon and Rue de Croissant, and good wine lists were few and far between.
