
You've probably heard the expression "It tasted better at the winery." This phrase is typically used in dismay. It reflects the difference between the way a wine tasted at a winery (when you were savoring a glass or two with the friendly owner or winemaker) and the way it tasted when you paid for it and opened it at home for dinner.
